So I saw this video on Upworthy.com and I’m a little confused. I’ve never been to Washington D.C. so I don’t know much about the regulations. Can anyone tell me what went wrong in this video? Is it public disturbance in a national memorial or something? I’m very confused as to why these people were arrested, and I could use some honest input here.
I’m not saying we ever were “the greatest”, but this is the most honest thing I’ve heard on television in a very long time.
TL;DR: WORTH THE WATCH
Mondays can be hard. I’ve been up and coding since about 8:30 a.m. (finishing all my work from the last 3 weeks) and right about now, I want to keel over and die. If you’re feeling similar Monday blues, here’s what I recommend: watch ZeFrank’s video (above), drink another cup of coffee, turn on the Skyrim playlist on Pandora, and keep on trudging through your work.
YOU CAN DO IT!
So I know I’m posting a lot today, but I’m ALL ALONE this weekend because my roommates went to Nashville and I’m HIGHLY caffeinated and…….let’s face it, I have no friends. And a ton of homework. That I’m going to put off until Sunday. I have like 4 websites to work on for 4 clients. Ugh. ANYWAY, I wanted to share a beautiful, educational, and very profane video of one of my YouTube heroes, Jenna Marbles, in which she renames common animals. And she does it so WELL. And FUCK YOU I CAN START A SENTENCE WITH ‘AND’ IF I WANT TO, THIS IS AMERICA YOU SHOULD BE PROUD I EVEN KNOW HOW TO SPELL AT ALL I’M FROM TENNESSEE FOR CHRISSAKES.
Sorry, like I said….HIGHLY CAFFEINATED.
(DISCLAIMER: Do not watch this video….or read my blog, for that matter……if you have problems with profanity. Or unnecessary Capitalization. Or EXCESSIVE USE OF CAPSLOCK.)
It’s WEDNESDAY, and you know what that means: SARAH GETS PAID AND HAS THE DAY OFF!!!!!
Oh. And also I try to make you smarter on Wednesdays.
TODAY’S LESSON: CRASHCOURSE U.S. HISTORY with John Green
Quick preface: #1 New York Times Best Selling Author John Green is one of my heroes. This video I’m about to share is the first in a year-long series on U.S. History.
Now, some of you may be thinking, “Why on earth would I relearn U.S. History? I learned that in high school…YAWN.” The thing is, we learn subjects in high school, middle school, and even college (if college is your thing) and then what do we do? WE FORGET. Especially me. It’s learning new things, refreshing our minds on the old things, and seeing an old subject from a new point of view that really makes a person keep it together. It keeps you young and sharp and lovely.

John’s YouTube channels
…and then if you go to either of those pages, you’ll find links to John’s brother, Hank, and all his channels. John writes books, Hank plays music, they both make videos and send them to each other. You’re gonna love it.
Wondering how I should start signing off here,
