Bucket List 2013

So I fully realize that almost NO ONE ELSE will care about what I plan on doing with my 2013, but I know that if I don’t publicly announce what I want to accomplish I WILL NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE. In a way, I’m sort of counting on you, PERSON-CURRENTLY-READING-THIS-SENTENCE, to shame/encourage/threaten/guilt-trip me into finishing these goals!

Without further ado, the moment you’ve all been waiting for……..

MY NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS:

  • Buy a good, dependable car
  • Take my first plane ride
  • Learn how to Mac better (I’m nearly Mac-illiterate, and it’s been one of my goals for some time now to learn)
  • Give away half of my crap
  • Assess the remaining crap
  • Give away half of the remaining crap
  • Love living simply with my remaining fourth of crap
  • BLOG AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK
  • Get ready for my 5K this summer (I HATE RUNNING so stay tuned for something pitiful and hilarious)
  • Earn at least $1 doing something I love
  • Mail my donated hair to Michigan (need to finally do this…it’s creepy to have a foot-long braid of your own hair sitting on a shelf in the closet…)
  • Pay off at least 2 debts
  • Pull off another semester with a 3.5 (or higher) GPA
  • Make serious headway in one of my silly unfinished books
  • FINISH KNITTING A SINGLE SCARF
  • Reach my 100th post on in the mug
  • Reach my 150th post
  • Reach my 200th post
  • Take down my Christmas tree before 1/15/2013
  • Get my violin fixed and practice a bit
  • Exercise more than I did in 2012 (which will be VERY easy, trust me)
  • Watch all Doctor Who episodes (apparently this is a big deal, according to everyone on earth)
  • Go somewhere on a Megabus
  • See my first concert
  • Get a tattoo
  • Hike a mountain
  • Learn how to cook
  • Finish writing a book (can be collection of short stories)
  • Be a film extra
  • Take a roadtrip
  • Make new friends
  • Go camping
  • Win a game of tennis
  • Read 10 books
  • Get paid to design a site for a client
  • Make an article of clothing from scratch
  • Re-read a favorite book
  • Travel to a new state
  • Learn how to dance the Charleston/ Learn to swing dance
  • Learn to drive a manual
  • MOVE to Louisville/New Albany
  • Run a 5k
  • Get tattoo touched up
  • Learn Adobe Illustrator
  • Design, code, and publish my web design home page to the internet.
  • Crate-train my dog
  • Make a book(s) with all my keepsakes (free up those antique suitcases)
  • Finish writing this list
  • Finish all the items on this list
